Rice from Ubon Ratchathani province in the eastern region of Thailand, far from industrial zones, is grown under natural sunlight for over 180 days. No chemicals are used, and it is harvested only once a year. This rice differs from most others in the country in that it retains a natural bran layer, giving it a slightly textured feel to the touch. It is neither polished nor coated with wax, and its taste brings back the nostalgic flavor of the rice we used to eat as children.
